Welcome to Wonder Voice™. These Terms of Use explain what you can expect from us and what we ask of you when you or a child in your care reads with WONZY™.
Please also read our Children's Privacy Policy & FERPA Student Privacy Notice, which forms part of this agreement.
1. Acceptance and Eligibility
These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Happy Youthful Minds LLC ("Happy Youthful Minds," "we," "us") for your use of Wonder Voice™ and the WONZY™ reading companion.
Accounts may only be opened by adults 18 years or older. Children use Wonder Voice™ through a profile created by a parent, guardian or authorized school, and always with adult oversight.
By creating an account, or by allowing a child in your care to use Wonder Voice™, you accept these terms and our Children's Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use Wonder Voice™.
2. What Wonder Voice™ Is
Wonder Voice™ is an educational reading platform for children roughly ages 4 to 8. WONZY™ reads stories aloud, listens as a child reads back, answers questions about the story, and turns the reading into practice through the Reading Mastery Propellor™.
We may improve, add to, or change features over time. We will not make changes that reduce the privacy protections described in our Children's Privacy Policy without telling you.
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account, for keeping your password confidential, and for activity that happens under your account.
Please tell us promptly at the address in Section 18 if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
4. Membership, Billing and Cancellation
A family membership is $25 per month unless a different price is shown to you at the time of purchase. Payment is collected by our payment processor; we do not store your full card details.
Memberships renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Taxes may be added where required. Prices may change with advance notice; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
30-day money-back guarantee: if you are not happy with Wonder Voice™, contact us within 30 days of your first membership payment and we will refund that payment in full, no questions asked. Later charges are reviewed case by case in good faith; cancelling at any time stops future charges.
5. Free Trial
New families receive a 48-hour free trial. The trial gives access to a small set of sample stories and to the "I read to WONZY™" reading mode only. The other reading modes, the rest of the story library and the full Happy Youthful Minds© library begin when a paid membership starts.
A payment card is required before a child profile can be created, because a card charge is a recognised way to verify that an adult is giving consent under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
When the 48-hour trial ends, access pauses until a membership is started. Your child's profiles and reading history are kept safe in the meantime.
6. School and District Accounts
Schools, districts and other partner organizations may hold accounts on behalf of their students and staff, under separate pricing agreed in writing.
Where a school sponsors access, the school is responsible for confirming it has the authority to enrol each student and, where required, for providing notices to parents.
Master Teacher and school administrator accounts are for assigning reading and reviewing progress. They do not include WONZY™ voice sessions.
Staff must use student information only for the educational purposes of the school and in line with FERPA and the school's agreement with us.
7. Acceptable Use
When using Wonder Voice™, you agree not to:
- Share an account, password or school access with anyone not entitled to it.
- Copy, download, resell or redistribute stories, audio, artwork or other content outside your permitted use.
- Attempt to access another family's or another school's information.
- Interfere with, probe or overload the service, or attempt to bypass usage limits or security measures.
- Use automated tools to scrape content or to generate speech or text at scale.
- Upload unlawful, harmful or inappropriate material, or anything you do not have the right to upload.
- Use Wonder Voice™ to build or train a competing product or model.
8. Child Profiles and Parental Responsibility
You confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child you add, or that you are authorized by the school to do so, and that you have given the parental consent recorded in your account.
Please use a first name only for your child. Wonder Voice™ does not need, and children should not be asked to say, addresses, phone numbers, school names or other personal details.
Adults remain responsible for supervising a child's use of Wonder Voice™, including how long and how often they read.
9. WONZY™ Voice Sessions and Time Limits
Voice sessions are limited by default to 15 minutes of talking time per day and 60 minutes per week for each child. WONZY™ says a warm goodbye when a limit is reached.
Conversations are kept to the story. Off-topic or unsafe speech is redirected back to reading and is never used to measure a child's progress.
We may adjust limits to keep the service reliable and affordable for everyone.
10. Content and Licence
Stories, artwork, audio, the WONZY™ characters, the Reading Mastery Propellor™ and all other material in Wonder Voice™ belong to Happy Youthful Minds LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
While your membership is active, you have a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the content for your family's or your school's own educational use. Nothing here transfers ownership.

11. Material You Provide
If you upload or submit material, you confirm you have the right to do so, and you give us permission to host and display it so we can provide the service to you.
We may remove material that breaches these terms or the rights of others.
12. Third-Party Services
We use carefully chosen service providers for hosting, payments, speech-to-text and speech generation. They may process information only as needed to provide the service, as described in our Children's Privacy Policy.
Links or references to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
13. No Educational or Clinical Guarantee
Wonder Voice™ supports reading practice. It does not guarantee any particular educational outcome, test result or rate of progress.
Wonder Voice™ never scores, ranks, grades, labels or diagnoses a child. It is not a diagnostic tool and is not a substitute for assessment or support from a qualified educator or clinician.
14. Disclaimers
Wonder Voice™ is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that speech recognition will always be accurate.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Happy Youthful Minds LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill.
Our total liability for any claim relating to Wonder Voice™ is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Happy Youthful Minds LLC and its officers, employees and contractors from claims arising out of your misuse of Wonder Voice™ or your breach of these terms or of applicable law.
17. Suspension and Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached, if required by law, or if needed to protect children, other users or the service.
When an account closes, information is deleted in line with the retention periods in our Children's Privacy Policy.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. When a change is material, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders. Continuing to use Wonder Voice™ after a change means you accept the updated terms.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
The state and federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you and Happy Youthful Minds LLC consent to that jurisdiction.
Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
